By purchasing or holding a ticket/pass or by entering Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 (‘Event’), each attendee agrees that they are subject to, and bound to comply with these conditions of entry (‘Conditions of Entry’).

The Event is an industry-only trade event and will take place Wednesday 24 July through to Friday 26 July 2024. The exposition and conference sessions are reserved for those with a professional, defence, governmental agency, business, academic, scientific, operational or response involvement in Defence and related government or industry sectors. The event is not open to the general public.
Trade visitor badges will be issued on satisfactory completion of the accreditation process to confirm eligibility as a trade visitor. Accreditation may be requested by our trade registration staff and may include qualification as an industry executive, government official or defence professional. It may also require evidence of government-service ID or corporate/industry affiliation. Conditions of entry also apply (see following on this page).
Trade visitor badges once issued will be valid for entry on all three days of the Event between 0900 and 1800 on Wednesday 24 July and Thursday 25 July and between 0900 and 1600 on Friday 26 July 2024.
No person under the age of 16 years will be admitted to the Event and a dress code applies. Appropriate business attire or applicable uniform is required. Official photographic (passport, drivers license, defence etc.) ID is necessary and must be carried with you at all times whilst attending the Event.
Please note that for security purposes, your information may be provided to relevant authorities.
WARNING: Aviation activities, the Event and recreational activities at the Event are inherently dangerous and accidents can happen.
If you participate in these activities your rights to sue the supplier if you are killed or injured because the activities were not supplied with due care and skill or were not reasonably fit for their purpose, are excluded, restricted or modified in the way set out in or on these Conditions of Entry, to the extent permitted by law.
This exclusion of liability is further described in condition 14 of these Conditions of Entry.1. Eligibility |

1.1 | Admission to the Event is exclusive to those with a professional or business interest in the defence or related industries and is not open to the general public. The ‘interest’ is determined at the absolute discretion of the Organiser. | ||||||||||||||||||
1.2 | No person under the age of 16 years will be admitted to the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
2. Tickets |
|||||||||||||||||||
2.1 | To be admitted to the Event, all persons must be in lawful possession of a current valid ticket or pass. | ||||||||||||||||||
2.2 | Tickets and passes may not be transferred for a fee, reward or other valuable consideration, or otherwise commercially dealt with (including for advertising or other promotional purposes such as prizes, competitions, contests or sweepstakes), without the Organiser’s prior written consent, which may be withheld or conditioned at the Organiser’s discretion. | ||||||||||||||||||
2.3 | The Organiser may direct an attendee at the Event to produce a valid ticket or pass at any time. | ||||||||||||||||||
2.4 | No refund or exchange will be made if tickets or passes are not used either in full or in part. | ||||||||||||||||||
3. Public Health |
|||||||||||||||||||
3.1 | By applying or purchasing tickets/passes or accepting registration or other permission from the Organiser to attend the Event, attendees acknowledge, agree and warrant that:- |
||||||||||||||||||
(a) | the attendee has considered those risks and their own personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability the attendee may have, and the circumstances of persons with whom the attendee will be in close contact following attendance at the Event, and | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | the attendee accepts and agrees that further conditions of entry in respect of any public health matters may be issued by the Organiser and the attendee agrees to comply with these and all such further conditions of entry issued by the Organiser with respect to public health and to comply with all directions or requirements of a government authority or the venue in respect of public health. | ||||||||||||||||||
4. Carparks |
|||||||||||||||||||
4.1 | Event carparks are exclusively for the use of Event patrons. | ||||||||||||||||||
4.2 | All persons entering carparks must be in possession of, or immediately acquire, current valid admission tickets or passes to the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
4.3 | No person may remain in a carpark without being in possession of a current valid admission ticket or pass to the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
5. Conduct and Safety |
|||||||||||||||||||
5.1 | You must abide by all directions given to you by the Organiser and/or Event staff, police, Event security or any person appointed as an authorised person with respect to the Event under any relevant legislation or instrument. | ||||||||||||||||||
5.2 | Unless expressly authorised by the Organiser, Event attendees must not: | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | conduct themselves in a manner which may bring the Event or aviation into disrepute; | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | do anything or conduct themselves in a way which, or which has the potential to; | ||||||||||||||||||
|
|||||||||||||||||||
(c) | damage or deface any part of the Event venue or any other person’s property; | ||||||||||||||||||
(d) | use racist , indecent or obscene language or threatening or insulting words or otherwise behave in a threatening, abusive, riotous, indecent or insulting manner; | ||||||||||||||||||
(e) | become intoxicated, use banned drugs or supply alcohol to minors; | ||||||||||||||||||
(f) | ignite any flare, firework, explosive or smoke bomb; | ||||||||||||||||||
(g) | transfer a ticket that has already been used to access the Event; | ||||||||||||||||||
(h) | enter any restricted area; | ||||||||||||||||||
(i) | carry out any commercial or political activity within an Event, including offering goods or services for sale; | ||||||||||||||||||
(j) | conduct surveys or opinion polls; | ||||||||||||||||||
(k) | post, place, erect or otherwise distribute any advertising or promotional material; | ||||||||||||||||||
(l) | erect any structure; | ||||||||||||||||||
(m) | litter; | ||||||||||||||||||
(n) | smoke or vape anywhere except in areas where smoking is permitted as designated by the Organiser; | ||||||||||||||||||
(o) | engage in ambush marketing; or | ||||||||||||||||||
(p) | engage in any criminal activity. | ||||||||||||||||||
5.3 | The Organiser reserves the right to refuse an attendee entry to, or remove an attendee from an Event, cancel or confiscate an attendee’s ticket or take any other action which the Organiser considers appropriate if; | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | an attendee is in breach of these Conditions of Entry; | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | an attendee is in breach of any applicable law, regulation and/or government regulation; | ||||||||||||||||||
(c) | an attendee is considered to be intoxicated; | ||||||||||||||||||
(d) | an attendee has been previously refused entry to, or removed from an Event; | ||||||||||||||||||
(e) | the Organiser receives a direction to do so from law enforcement agencies; or | ||||||||||||||||||
(f) | the Organiser reasonably believes that an attendee’s conduct negatively impacts, or has the potential to negatively impact the safety, security or comfort of other patrons, staff or participants, or the integrity of the Organiser’s Event or events in general. | ||||||||||||||||||
5.4 | Any person failing to comply with a direction on behalf of the Organiser to leave the Event site or carparks may be physically removed by the Organiser, their officials or security personnel. | ||||||||||||||||||
5.5 | Any vehicle, aircraft, container, equipment, product, substance or object not removed from the Event site (or carparks) in accordance with a direction on behalf of the Organiser may be physically removed by the Organiser, their officials or security personnel. | ||||||||||||||||||
5.6 | You acknowledge that the Event takes place outdoors and your attendance may result in you being exposed to direct sunlight and heat. You are responsible for taking appropriate care for your own wellbeing at the Event including but not limited to hydration and sun protection. | ||||||||||||||||||
6. Prohibited Items |
|||||||||||||||||||
6.1 | Persons, vehicles, aircraft and containers are not permitted to enter (or remain in) the Event site (or Event carparks) with any prohibited item, without the Organiser’s prior written consent (which may be withheld or conditioned at the Organiser’s sole and absolute discretion). | ||||||||||||||||||
6.2 | Prohibited items include but are not limited to: | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | firearms, restricted items, knives or weapons (including replica or toy firearms or weapons), except firearms, restricted items, and weapons for exhibitor display purposes in accordance with legislation; | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | explosives, pyrotechnics (including ammunition, explosive powder, primer) or any dangerous goods; | ||||||||||||||||||
(c) | projectiles; | ||||||||||||||||||
(d) | paint, chemicals or sprays; | ||||||||||||||||||
(e) | placards, flags, banners or signs; | ||||||||||||||||||
(f) | megaphones, amplifiers, loudspeakers; | ||||||||||||||||||
(g) | fireworks, lights or lasers (handheld or otherwise), drones or other aerial equipment; | ||||||||||||||||||
(h) | bicycles, scooters, e-scooters, golf carts and items of personal conveyance (other than wheelchairs or motorised scooters for use by a person with a disability or injury); | ||||||||||||||||||
(i) | stoves, barbecues and cooking equipment; | ||||||||||||||||||
(j) | tents, structures, shelters and elevated seating; | ||||||||||||||||||
(k) | shade and/or beach umbrellas; | ||||||||||||||||||
(l) | clothing bearing any racist, indecent or obscene language or images; | ||||||||||||||||||
(m) | goods and tickets for the purposes of commercial sale or distribution; | ||||||||||||||||||
(n) | materials, substances, devices, apparatus or equipment or any other thing which, in the opinion of the Organiser, have (or may have) the potential to cause: | ||||||||||||||||||
|
|||||||||||||||||||
(o) | all unlawful substances are prohibited items; | ||||||||||||||||||
(p) | glass objects; | ||||||||||||||||||
(q) | alcoholic beverages (unless purchased at the Event); or | ||||||||||||||||||
(r) | animals and birds will not be admitted to the Event site or carparks except guide dogs being used by blind, deaf or otherwise by a person with a disability. | ||||||||||||||||||
7. Remotely Piloted Aircraft |
|||||||||||||||||||
7.1 | Remotely Piloted Aircraft (‘Drones’) may not be brought onto the Event site or the Event carparks except with the specific prior express permission of the Organiser. | ||||||||||||||||||
7.2 | If the Organiser permits the sale by vendors at the Event of Drones, such Drones must at all times within the Event site and the Event carparks remain within the packaging in which the Drones were sold and supplied by the vendor and at all times such packaging must remain sealed and unopened while the Drone is within the Event site or the Event carparks. | ||||||||||||||||||
7.3 | Drones are not permitted to be flown or operated at the Event or within the Event site or the Event carparks. | ||||||||||||||||||
7.4 | The Organiser may, at their sole and absolute discretion, at any time: | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | revoke any prior permission or approval given by the Organiser for Drones to be brought onto the Event site or the Event carparks; | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | require any person with a Drone to remove it from the Event site or Event carpark; or | ||||||||||||||||||
(c) | take possession of any Drone at the Event site or the Event carparks, remove it from the Event site or Event carpark and/or retain possession of the same until after the conclusion of the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
8. Submission to Search |
|||||||||||||||||||
8.1 | A person’s entry to the Event site or carpark area (or any part of the event site or carpark area) is subject to the condition that the person must comply with such of the following requests as may be made of the person— | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | a request by an authorised officer that the person undergo a search conducted by electronic means (such as by passing an electronic detection device over or in close proximity to the person or by the person passing through a detection device), | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | a request by an authorised officer that the person allow a search of articles in the person’s possession and identify articles in the person’s possession, | ||||||||||||||||||
(c) | a request by an authorised officer that the person remove his or her overcoat, coat or jacket or similar article of clothing and any gloves, shoes and hat (or other headwear), and allow an examination of those items, |
||||||||||||||||||
(d) | if the person enters in a vehicle or vessel—a request by an authorised officer that the person open the vehicle or vessel, or part of it, for inspection and allow the vehicle, vessel or part to be searched. | ||||||||||||||||||
Note— A failure to comply with such a request is not an offence. However, a person who refuses such a request may be excluded from entry to the event area or part of the Event area concerned under subsection 8.2. | |||||||||||||||||||
8.2 | An authorised officer may exclude a person who refuses such a request from entry to the Event site or part of the Event area concerned. | ||||||||||||||||||
8.3 | Reasonable force may be used to affect the person’s exclusion. | ||||||||||||||||||
9. Identification Requirements |
|||||||||||||||||||
9.1 | All persons must carry with them official photographic identification issued by government or statutory authority (e.g., current driver's license, proof of age card, service identification or passport), which must be produced on demand to the Organiser, its officials, police, or security personnel of the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
10. Security |
|||||||||||||||||||
10.1 | The Event site or carparks may be under security surveillance and a person's image may be captured at any time. Any personal information will be managed in accordance with the Organiser’s Privacy Policy https://iods.com.au/privacy.asp | ||||||||||||||||||
11. Lost or Unattended Items |
|||||||||||||||||||
11.1 | Each attendee acknowledges that they are responsible for the safety and security of their own personal property and hereby release the Organiser from any liability for loss or damage (including any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage) to any personal property brought into any area of the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
11.2 | Bags, luggage, receptacles and personal property and effects are not to be left unattended within the Event venue. | ||||||||||||||||||
11.3 | Bags luggage, receptacles and personal property and effects left unattended at the Event site will be removed from the venue without notice or advice and may be destroyed. | ||||||||||||||||||
11.4 | Enquiries regarding lost property should be made to the Organiser. | ||||||||||||||||||
12. Suspicious Objects |
|||||||||||||||||||
12.1 | Suspicious or unattended property or objects should be reported immediately to the Organiser, its officials or security personnel. | ||||||||||||||||||
12.2 | Any person behaving in a suspicious, disorderly, riotous, offensive or disruptive manner should be reported immediately to the Organiser, officials or security personnel. | ||||||||||||||||||
13. Instructions and Directions |
|||||||||||||||||||
13.1 | All persons admitted to the Event site or carparks are required to comply with all instructions and directions issued by the Organiser, their officials and security personnel. | ||||||||||||||||||
14. Warning and Release of Liability |
|||||||||||||||||||
14.1 | WARNING – AVIATION ACTIVITES, THE EVENT AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT WITH THE EVENT ARE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS AND ACCIDENTS CAN HAPPEN. THERE IS RISK OF AN ACCIDENT CAUSING INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE OR ECONOMIC LOSS. PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY AS IT LIMITS YOUR RIGHTS. YOUR RIGHTS ARE MODIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 1A, DIVISON 4 OF THE CIVIL LIABILITY ACT 2002 (WA) AND THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW CONTAINED IN THE COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT 2010 (CTH). | ||||||||||||||||||
14.2 | All persons admitted to the Event site or carparks are advised that air shows and expositions include elements of danger and risk of injury. The approvals required by the applicable authorities have been obtained for the staging of the Event and such precautions as are appropriate will be taken to minimise risk to those in attendance. It is a condition of entry that all persons attending the Event do so accepting that all risks cannot be eliminated. | ||||||||||||||||||
14.3 | RISK WARNING: By attending the Event and participating in recreational activities at the Event each person acknowledges and agrees that there are risks which may result in personal injury to the person. The risks extend to physical or mental injury (including aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of any physical or mental injury), illness or death, as a result of or in connection with:

14.4 | Each attendee of the Event acknowledge and agree that: | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | attendance at the Event and participation in recreational activities at the Event is for the attendee’s own enjoyment and leisure and is entirely recreational; | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | there is inherent risk in attending the Event and participating in recreational activities at the Event; | ||||||||||||||||||
(c) | the attendee has been warned that there is a risk of personal injury arising from or in connection with their attendance at the Event and participation in recreational activities at the Event; |
||||||||||||||||||
(d) | they have been advised to take appropriate care for their own wellbeing at the Event, including hydration and sun protection; and | ||||||||||||||||||
(e) | they should consider their attendance at the Event and participation in recreational activities at the Event in a responsible manner and with good judgment, particularly if the attendee has a health or medical condition, is pregnant or has other physical limitations. Attendees with medical conditions are responsible for assessing whether they can attend or participate. Attendees must seek medical advice if uncertain. | ||||||||||||||||||
14.5 | To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser does not accept responsibility for any negligent acts or omissions by performers, display participants, spectators, visitors, exhibitors, caterers, contractors, suppliers or persons other than the Organiser, their officials, servants or agent. | ||||||||||||||||||
14.6 | It is a condition of entry to the Event that, to the extent permitted by law, visitors, exhibitors and participants exclude, release and forever discharge the Organiser, its personnel, agents and officials and its Related Bodies Corporate (and their respective personnel, agents and officials), from all liability (including for consequential loss) for claims, loss, damage, costs or expenses (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage, infringement of third party rights or otherwise) arising from or connected with the Event and their participation in recreational activities at the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
14.7 | It is a condition of entry to the Event that, to the extent permitted by law, visitors, exhibitors and participants exclude, release and forever discharge the Organiser, its personnel, agents and officials and its Related Bodies Corporate (and their respective personnel, agents and officials), from all liability (including consequential loss) for claims, loss, damage, costs or expenses (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage, infringement of third party rights or otherwise) arising from or connected with the Event and their participation in recreational activities at the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
14.8 | These Conditions of Entry do not seek to exclude or limited any liability that cannot by law be excluded or limited, including the consumer guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law contained in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). |
||||||||||||||||||
14.9 | The attendee indemnifies the Organiser and its Related Bodies Corporate for any loss or damage that the Organiser and its Related Bodies Corporate may suffer as a result of a breach by the attendee of these Conditions of Entry, except to the extent the Organiser and its Related Bodies Corporate caused or contributed to such loss or damage. | ||||||||||||||||||
15. Alteration to Program etc. |
|||||||||||||||||||
15.1 | Program, display and exhibition content, duration and timing are provisional and may be subject to alteration without notice. | ||||||||||||||||||
15.2 | The right is reserved to vary, add, withdraw or substitute performances, exhibits and displays and/or to vary advertised programs, seating arrangements and facilities at any time and without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser makes no representation that any particular aircraft, performer or other personality, activity or other entertainment will compete, perform or otherwise appear the Event. | ||||||||||||||||||
15.3 | Due to the nature of the event, changes to programs are not material changes which would entitle you to a refund, credit, exchange or other compensation. | ||||||||||||||||||
16. Cancellation, Abandonment and Postponement | |||||||||||||||||||
16.1 | If any part of the Event or any performance, display, exhibit or other element of the Event is cancelled, abandoned or postponed, in whole or in part, due to causes reasonably beyond the Organiser’s control, there is no right to refund or exchange and no obligation on the Organiser to arrange any substitute event, performance, display, exhibit or element. | ||||||||||||||||||
16.2 | The Organiser will refund payments made by persons to the Organiser for Tickets in accordance with the Organiser’s Refund Policy. | ||||||||||||||||||
16.3 | The Organiser acknowledge that nothing in these Conditions of Entry operates to exclude, restrict or modify the application of any implied condition or warranty, provision, the exercise of any right or remedy (including a right to indemnify), or the imposition of any liability, implied or conferred under any law including the Australian Consumer Law contained in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (except where the law permits such obligations to be excluded, limited or modified). | ||||||||||||||||||
17. Exploitation of Film, Sound, Video, Recording, Software etc. | |||||||||||||||||||
17.1 | No person who enters or has entered the Event site or carparks shall without the prior written consent of the Organiser sell, license or otherwise exploit, or attempt to exploit, any material whether written or in the form of digital or photographic film, sound, video or other recording or computer software obtained or made at the Event site or carparks. | ||||||||||||||||||
17.2 | Without limiting the provisions of condition 17.1, it is a condition of entry to the Event and the carparks that: | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | a person cannot make, create, record, transmit, reproduce or use any recording, data or image at the Event or in the carparks for any form of public advertisement, transmission, display, or for profit or commercial gain, or for any other purpose (except for the private enjoyment of the person making the recording, data or image) without the prior written consent of the Organiser; and | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | if a person makes, creates, records, transmits, reproduces or uses any recording or image of, at or in relation to the Event or any part of it or in the carparks with or without the consent of the Organiser, that person shall, on request by the Organiser, assign in writing all copyright and all other intellectual property in any such image or recording to the Organiser or their assignees or nominees as directed by the Organiser. | ||||||||||||||||||
17.3 | All persons entering the Event site or carparks agree that the Organiser’s remedies for breach of this condition 17 shall not be limited to damages and may include all and any profits made as a result of such breach. |
||||||||||||||||||
18. Photography, Filming and Recording | |||||||||||||||||||
18.1 | Attendees at the Event acknowledge and agree that: - | ||||||||||||||||||
(a) | any or all venues, areas, stands, exhibits, displays and activities associated with the Event, and any or all attendees, may be photographed, filmed, video graphed or otherwise (without limitation) recorded, by the Organiser or third parties authorised by the Organiser; | ||||||||||||||||||
(b) | the Organiser, and third parties authorised by the Organiser, may (and are hereby authorised by the attendee to) make, create, store, record, transmit, reproduce or use photographs, films, videos, recordings, pictures and images of any type (without limitation) of any of such venues, areas, stands, exhibits, displays and activities and of any or all attendees (without limitation) at or in relation to such venues, areas and activities; and, | ||||||||||||||||||
(c) | Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) may be in operation at any or all times during the Event and the Organiser shall be entitled, without objection, to deliver the CCTV videotapes to the Police or other competent authority as evidence, if requested to do so, and the contents of such videotapes may be used as evidence in a court of law. | ||||||||||||||||||
18.2 | The attendee agrees to the use and exploitation of photographic, film, video, electronic or picture images or recordings (including sound) featuring, incorporating or involving the attendee taken by or on behalf of the Organiser at, or in relation to, all venues, areas, stands, exhibits, displays or activities at or associated with the Event for any and all purposes determined by the Organiser, including for commercial purposes, in any and all media whatsoever (whether in existence now or in the future) around the world without further authorisation, notification or payment. The attendee hereby waives any rights of objection in connection with such use and all image, privacy or other rights in connection with such use. | ||||||||||||||||||
18.3 | Unless the attendee otherwise expressly reaches an agreement with the Organiser, each attendee grants the Organiser and third parties authorised by them permission to use recordings and/or images, or other images or likenesses of the attendee, in any media (including publication within and outside Australia) and for any purpose without identification or compensation or payment of any kind. | ||||||||||||||||||
18.4 | Unless the attendee expressly otherwise reaches an agreement with the Organiser to the contrary, the attendee consents to the Organiser (and third parties authorised by the Organiser) taking photographs, film, tape, electronic and other images or likenesses of the attendee, or any sound recording, and using them as hereinbefore described. | ||||||||||||||||||
18.5 | Except as authorised in 18.1 or 18.4 above, no attendee (other than on behalf of the Organiser or persons or third parties approved by the Organiser) may photograph, film, video or otherwise record a stand, exhibit, display or any other attendee without the express permission of the stand, exhibit or display manager or the other attendee, but exhibitors are permitted to photograph, film or record their own stands, exhibits and displays. | ||||||||||||||||||
18.6 | Notwithstanding any provision hereof, in consideration of the admission of the attendee by the Organiser to the Event, the attendee acknowledges and agrees that the Organiser will be under no obligation to the attendee to prevent or preclude (or to take any steps or actions to prevent or preclude) any photography, filming or recording of any stand, exhibit, display or attendee and the attendee releases the Organiser from all claims, suits or proceedings by the attendee against the Organiser in respect of any such photography, filming or recording. | ||||||||||||||||||
19. Animals | |||||||||||||||||||
19.1 | Animals will not be admitted to the event, except guide hearing and assistance dogs certified pursuant to the provisions of the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995 and used by a person with a disability under the Act or otherwise with the expression permission of the Organiser. | ||||||||||||||||||
20. Privacy | |||||||||||||||||||
20.1 | The Organiser collect personal information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) about attendees at the Event which is necessary for them to operate the Event and to help promote the Event and subsequent or related or similar events and other event and activities conducted by the Organiser and by their Related Bodies Corporate. In particular, the Organiser may collect the name, address, email and phone number of attendees for the purposes of coordinating the seating and/or viewing arrangements at the Event and of conducting research, marketing and promotional activities in relation to the Event and other subsequent events and activities conducted by the Organiser and their Related Bodies Corporate. | ||||||||||||||||||
20.2 | Attendees hereby consent to the use and disclosure of their personal information by the Organiser and their Related Bodies Corporate to research, marketing and promotional organisations for the purposes set out in the first paragraph of this condition 20.1 unless the attendee otherwise notifies the Organiser by contacting the Privacy Officer of the Organiser as described in the Organiser’s Privacy Policy: https://iods.com.au/privacy.asp | ||||||||||||||||||
20.3 | Unless attendees advise otherwise, attendees' consent to receiving future promotional and marketing material from the Organiser and their Related Bodies Corporate, including via electronic messages (e.g., email, SMS etc), and telephoning attendees for an indefinite period. | ||||||||||||||||||

21.1 | In these Conditions of Entry, the term “Organiser” refers to AMDA Foundation Limited (ABN 63 091 147 787), its personnel, agents, and officials. | ||||||||||||||||||
21.2 | In these Conditions of Entry, the term “Related Body Corporate” and the term “Related Bodies Corporate” have the meanings attributed to those terms by the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). | ||||||||||||||||||
21.3 | If any part of these Conditions of Entry is found to be invalid or unenforceable under any applicable laws, that part will be regarded as removed to the extent permitted by law, and the remainder of the these Conditions of Entry will have full force and effect. | ||||||||||||||||||
21.4 | The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Conditions of Entry from time to time. The amended Conditions of Entry will be found at the Event website. As required by law, and where any amendment of these Conditions of Entry is material and will detrimentally impact the attendee, the Organiser will notify the attendee of the amendment. | ||||||||||||||||||
21.5 | These Conditions of Entry are governed by and should be construed in accordance with the laws in the State of Western Australia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Western Australia. |
