THE QUAD
The Quad is a diplomatic partnership comprising Australia, India, Japan and the United States, committed to supporting an open, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific that is inclusive and resilient.
The Quad in numbers:

- US$ 34.8 trillion combined GDP
- 16% of global exports
- 20% of global imports
The Quad has a positive, practical agenda to respond to the region’s most pressing challenges, including:
- maritime security
- critical and emerging technology
- humanitarian assistance and disaster relief
- cyber security
- space
- health security
- climate change
- infrastructure
- countering disinformation
- counter-terrorism
The Quad promotes a shared approach to the region in the name of stability. However, it also offers a platform for bilateral cooperation to develop and exploit advanced technologies and broaden industry scope across international supply chains.
