INNOVATION AWARDS DEADLINE EXTENDED

INNOVATION AWARDS DEADLINE EXTENDED

Australian innovators have one more week to complete their Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Innovation Award submission with organisers announcing a deadline extension.

Innovation Awards entries were due this week however the deadline has shifted by one week to Monday 13 May to give a final opportunity to last-minute submissions.

Head Innovation Awards judge and DMTC Ltd Chair, Tony Quick, said that they have already received a high level of quality submissions but additional requests for an extended deadline have prompted today’s announcement.

“The Innovation Awards submission process is thorough and in-depth and we want to give the late-comers an appropriate amount of time to properly articulate their innovation for consideration,” he said.

“Australia is a hub for new technologies and forward thinking and therefore we welcome any innovators who want to further their professional development by entering these awards.

“Extending the deadline by one week simply ensures a fair playing field for all.”

The Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Innovation Awards are designed to highlight and reward Australians at the forefront of innovation and are presented in conjunction with the IODS 2024 conference and exhibition to be held in Perth from 24 – 26 July.

• Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Emerging Technology Award

• Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Young Innovator Award
